18 months old
So Madsen turned 18 months on Sunday. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Everyone used to say he looked like a little man because of his hair, I guess it was just a matter of time before he started acting like a little man. So an update on my toddler :)
Weight: 22.1 lbs. The doctor said he needs to gain a little bit of weight. Little does he know how much this little guy eats. Just the sight of food and he goes crazy. We just have to increase the milk intake. Time to make that belly poke out even more.
Length:32.25 "
Teeth:He has four teeth on top and 3 on bottom in the front and 3 molars and one ready to poke out anytime. So food no longer is a challenge.
Sleep: I know I'm crazy, he is in a toddler bed already. But he has been doing great. He sleeps through the night still and no longer wakes up crying and feeling trapped. We found an awesome deal in the classifieds. We got him a Cars bed, Cars sheets, Cars table with two chairs, and Cars shelf with tubs for his toys all for $80 bucks! And he loves it all. He always points to lightning McQueen on his headboard and laughs, then goes vroom vroom kachow!
Favorite food: Everything. I love not having to cook stuff just for him. He eats anything and everything we eat. Seriously, from Indian curry to spicy salsa, he eats it all.
Favorite movie: I would say its a tie between Cars and Little Einsteins, although lately Cars seems to be pulling ahead just a bit.
Favorite song: Rascal Flatts, Life is a highway. He hears it in the other room and he takes off running to go dance. lol
Favorite activity: Still going outside, just a little harder to do this time of year. When he's in Wyoming, he drags Uncle Trenton outside, points to the four wheeler and says "I want this, I want this" and begs for a ride.
Favorite book: "I hear..." he loves trying to make the sounds and is so proud of being able to say the watch goes tick, tock.
He loves running everywhere all day and I couldn't imagine my life any busier or more fun. I'm so grateful to have such an active little boy that I love so much in my life. (Sorry these aren't the best pics, I'll post better ones later)

Prima Isa
So it's been a long time since I've posted. So there's lots of things to catch up on. I've been swapping babysitting with Tally, and it's been a lot of fun to have Isa around. She is such a cute little girl. She is always smiley. Even if she's crying you can always get her to laugh and smile just by saying her name and smiling at her. Last week she was still asleep when Tally had to leave so I just listened to her and got her out of her crib when she woke up. I got to get her dressed, which was so much fun! Little girls sure have a lot more options of how to dress up than a boy. Thanks Tally, for letting me get her dressed! So I had to take pictures of her all dressed up with her sweater, cute jeans, her bow, frilly socks and cute shoes. *sigh* someday I'll get my chance for a girl, right?
