Madsen's baby blessing day
Well, I know these are REALLY late, but by request, here are some of Madsen's baby blessing day pictures! I can't believe how little he was! It makes me realize how big he keeps getting and all the more sadder.

It's cold in Utah!
So of course we're enjoying the cold and wintry weather here in the mountains of Utah (as much as is humanly possible, which isn't very much). However the one thing that we truly can enjoy is seeing Madsen all bundled up and cozy. Being all zipped up sure makes his cheeks look bigger, not that they need enhancing. It's really cute and funny to see him work his way out of being bundled tight in his blankets. He does not like to have his hands constrained, not when there are so many things to grab.

Bedtime!
Here's our little principe all ready for bed! He sure looks tired. We're working on the going to bed by himself and so far I think we're making pretty good progress. One new thing that we do need for bedtime is new pajamas. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He's four months old, weighing in at 15 lbs 2 oz, and measuring 25 1/4 inches long at his last checkup. Where did my little baby go!

Merry Christmas!

Madsen with Tio Marvin
Christmas Eve we spent at Abuelita Lilian's house and Madsen even stayed up until midnight like a true little Guatemalan. But we did decide to save the tamales tasting for next year. On Christmas day he opened his presents mostly on his own. And of course his pile was bigger than everybody else's.Posted by Josh at 12:51 PM 0 comments
